What I hear when listening to Umfang, is her understanding of the past to shape a future, in this case the future of electronic/techno music.
The biggest problem I find with Umfang's music is being that inspired and yet wanting to turn it off to get in the studio myself. I want to create but at the same time want to keep listening. I can't say I've had that happen since the late 90's.
Highly recommended. sm-ll.com
